📱 Initial Setup with Smartphone (one-time required)

⚠️ Important: Without network connection, the socket will only blink and won't work!

Connect Socket

Plug socket into wall → LED blinks rapidly → This is normal!

Open Phone WiFi

Phone → Settings → WiFi → Search for "tasmota-xxxxx" → Tap and connect

Browser Opens

After a short time, browser opens automatically → Tap "Configure WiFi"
If not: Open browser manually → Enter "192.168.4.1"

Select Home WiFi

Tap your normal WiFi from the list (e.g. "FritzBox-xyz")

Enter Password

Enter WiFi password in the "Password" field → Tap "Save"

Done!

Phone reconnects to your WiFi → Socket LED stops blinking

✅ Success: LED no longer blinking - GentleWatt is now ready to use!
❌ Problems: Hold button for 40 seconds → Socket restarts → Start at step 1

❌ Not suitable for GentleWatt monitoring: Continuous consumers like lamps, fans
💡 Solution: Use in normal mode as regular socket with on/off switch

🔧 Reset and Troubleshooting

Disable GentleWatt Monitoring

Hold Button for 3 Seconds

Result: Deactivates GentleWatt function
Then works as normal socket
LED constantly on when socket is powered (no blinking)

If nothing happens: • Device consumes too little (<1 Watt) • Constant consumption → No shut-off needed
